If you are interested in getting your dog certified please read ALL of the information below. Then please contact me at 248-410-0307 on the morning of testing between 9:00am-12:00pm to check for cancellations. If you do not call you will not be able to have your dog tested that evening.

I will be testing at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills MI. Please check out the Botsford link on the Dr. Paws web sight for more information www.Drpaws.org I suggest that everyone comes a few minuets early so that your dog has a chance to calm down and get used to the environment. If you are going to be late you will need to reschedule. 

We will meet in the lobby of the Emergency entranc. There will not be time to take your dog outside during the testing session so make sure your dog uses the bathroom before you enter the hospital.

I will be testing on the dates listed below. You only need to attend three testing sessions to become certified.

Please click on the TherapyDogs.com link above to obtain the information necessary to become a therapy dog. Once you are on the TherapyDogs.com sight you need to click on the How To Become A Member link. Then you need to download and print off the 1-9 forms. All forms MUST be completely filled out BEFORE you come to the first testing session.

Check List BEFORE You Come To Your First Testing Session.

1. Your dog must be one year old, non dog or people aggressive.
2. Your dog must be well socialized and well mannered.
3. Download and print off forms 1-9 on the Therapy Dogs web sight.
4. Fill out ALL of the forms.
5. Make sure you vet signs or stamps the appropriate form.
6. Get a copy or your dogs Rabies certificate.
7. Get a copy of a negative fecal check done within the last year.
8. Your dogs must be freshly bathed.
9. You need a leash no longer than 4ft. No Flexi leash!
10. Halty, gentle leader and harness are all ok.

If you do not have everything on this list you WILL be sent home!
